We are excited to finally introduce you to Root Pax! Our mission is to help raise awareness to various issues that plague our society and planet today, as well as inspire you to become a happier and healthier version of yourself. Root Pax represents growth, happiness, and progress and we are excited to have you join our journey to make the world a slightly better place than it was when we got here. Life is hard for all of us. We all experience tragedy, pain, disappointments, and adversity but we truly believe that personal growth and helping others is a remedy for life's hardships. Having something meaningful to strive for, moving towards it (even if slowly), and making a difference in the lives of others is what makes life worthwhile. We've always had a feeling inside that ordinary people were capable of starting something that matters, so after being inspired by brands with similar missions, we finally started working on Root Pax in 2016. With no prior entrepreneurial or fashion industry experience, and very little capital, the learning curve has been steep to say the least. But 3 years later, with help from many great people, Root Pax is finally here. The Root Pax mantra is that you alone can make the world a little better by improving yourself first. If we focus on building our own courage and confidence; if we remember to be grateful for life; if we are patient with ourselves, our loved ones and our goals; if we persevere through the difficult times and help others do the same; if we make compassion and giving back to the less fortunate a priority; if we all practice our leadership skills individually but also realize the importance of teamwork; if we strive to be honest people with integrity who speak the truth (or at least don't lie); if we all try to find our purpose in life and give ourselves to it completely, we can collectively make the planet a better place to live. The purpose of the Root Pax blog is to help raise awareness and inspire. We plan to regularly post about the causes we support, as well as blog the ups and downs of the brand as it grows. Hopefully we can inspire someone to pursue their own dream. If we can do it, so can you.
